Wow, like I know these people! They are the talk of the town as far as cheerleading goes. I saw their squads compete and win first, second, and third places the last 3 years in a row at the state competetion in Columbia, MO. I'm going to have girl children now just so I can send them to Athlete's Plus to become champion cheerleaders!

Great idea for a business. Nothing like it around. Booming new sport. Melanie and Billy, I have heard nothing but good things about the two of you. I have been told that you build athletes, but also build character in the kids you work with. Work ethic and winning spirit, good combo.

Hey if you guys need an extra guy to teach coed stunting I am a 3 year SEMO cheerleader, UCA instructor living in Cape for the summer. Also, I've trained a Mississippi State cheerleader, and one of my girls got invited to tryout at Kentucky. My name is Ben Stricklin and my cell is 573 380 2553.

Hey Everybody! Billy and Melanie are the best coaches out there! They know how to have fun and work your butt off! You actually enjoy the process of getting better. They are the best duo since peanut butter and jelly! It only takes one class to see a difference. They sure do know what they're doing! They're a super fun combo. If you need a routine choreographed, and you want something complicated, but manageable, Billy and Melanie are the people to see. I love them sooo much! I'm so excited for the HS All-Star Squad! I can't wait to get started. I can hardly contain myself! =D <3

Do you have any experience in tumbling? What are your qualifications? Are you safety certified? Were either of you gymnasts? Have either of you had extensive training or knowledge of proper gymnastics training?

Obviously this last post was written by someone whose mother didn't teach them that if you don't have anything nice to say, DON'T say anything at all! It's very easy to criticize someone when you don't have to sign your name to your post.

Thanks for your support extreme cheer mom!!! To answer a few of the previous bloggers questions, all our instructors have had previous tumbling experience although I really don't think that's what makes a good coach. For instance, I'm 50--tumbling, stunting and cheerleading have changed tremendously since I was young. We go to coaches clinics and conferences to keep up on the latest in cheerleading and tumbling. As far as gymnastics are concerned, we don't teach the bars, beams or vault. There are two gyms in our area that are quite good at gymnastics--we specialize in tumbling and cheerleading--that's what we love and are trained to do. You are more than welcome to come to our gym and we will talk to you about our experience, knowledge and training.

The money I spend for my daughter to be trained at Athletes Plus is the best I've ever spent. She and I BOTH love it there! Billy and Melanie (and the rest of the staff) are top notch trainers. Go Rockets!
